Have had a 2TB Seagate Firecuda inside and was connected to Xbox One S for 3 years. It has been loading games faster than the internal HDD of the Xbox. I have it connected to PC via USB3.1 now and did a crystaldisk benchmark, and runs as fast as the identical internal drive connected directly to SATA port in the PC. It also powers on and off with Xbox and the PC so power management works on the enclosure as well.
Thermals seem to be under control as well, although there is no fan inside and is only passively cooled.
Really well built, have no complaints. The Blue LED at the front is a bit annoying and bright. I put black electrical tape to cover most of it, otherwise it is seemingly perfect.
I have had absolutely no issues with this. I'm looking to buy another one, but they seem to not available at this time.
