Too bad because this product is priced very appropriately, and the build quality is good for the price. The deal breaker is that you can hear a background "hmm" sound in anything you record, resembling an electric wave, probably due to poor shielding. It is essentially unusable unless you are using an app that can remove background noise, like Zoom or Google Meet. I definitely wouldn't buy this microphone for anything more than a video call, let alone to record a video.

- Could've named their mic less generic - it is that good.

I was searching for microphones. I picked this up, thinking this was something to play around with. Just as it was out of the package, an uncertain amount of excitement rushed through me. I put together the microphone stand! After plugging in the microphone, I heard my own voice back. The sound quality was fantastic - especially at this price range.
