urchased for a new home computer build. Received in store recommendation. This is a solid product. All working as expected.

Works well...at first

Sleek look, size and portability.

Not reliable. The first one I purchased stopped working after two months. The disc just spun when inserted, then the drive would shut down. The drive would also disconnect from the laptop every time it was opened. The second drive stopped working after one day. It would not detect the disc that was inserted.

Do not purchase.

Doesn't work for me ...

Slim, quite, looks good

USB connection at the drive itself is loose. Doesn't work for my Surface Pro 3 running Windows 10. No support from ASUS. No way to manually install driver because no driver can be found. Not in the CD provided, not on the ASUS website either.

Search the web after and found out that others were not being able to use the drive after moving on to Windows 10, but still OK with Windows 8 and older.
