Doesn't work for the explicitly stated purpose of 4k@60Hz output, even though the packaging claims this. I suspect they didn't pay the HDCP2.2 licensing fee because this adapter only offered 4k@30Hz, and no sound output. I don't know this, but it would explain why there was no 4k@60Hz output from my Intel i3-6100 to my SEIKI 42" HDMI2.0 capable display.

Buy the Club3d adapter that is a little more, it is tested working.

I wish I'd seen the other reviewers comments before I trusted the packaging and went through the trouble of buying it, testing it, seeing it fail, and returning it to buy the other adapter.

My 2/5 star rating is because it won't do what it explicitly claims to do on the packaging which will mislead people. If it never made the claim, I could rate it higher as it DOES *something*, just not what *most* people are going to be interested in buying it for.

Doesn't actually output HDMI 2.0

Tried this because the adapter I wanted was temporarily out of stock. This couldn't push out 4K@60. Get the Club3D adapter instead - Model CAC-1070. http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=1336_1441&item_id=091368
