Diagnostics Service Labour Charges

Our expertly trained staff will power on your system and inspect logs, error codes, and overall health of your system to locate any instabilities. Findings will be shared and if required an estimate to ensure your system is running at peak performance.
A deep and thorough review for hard to identify problems. Our expert staff will leverage an array of testing methods on critical components, including your hard drive, solid-state drive, memory, motherboard, CPU, power supply, and operating system. Findings will be shared, and an estimate will be provided to return your system to peak performance.
Run specialised software to assess the health and condition of your hard drive (HDD) or solid-state drive (SSD). Address any filesystem errors, bad sectors, or uncover the need to be replaced.

Upgrade & Repair Service Labour Charges

Technicians will open the case and replace defective memory modules or install new modules to increase the amount of RAM your system has. Will depend upon system design.

Technicians will open the case and replace your hard drive (HDD) or solid-state drive (SSD). This can be a result of a defective drive, or if you are looking to upgrade. The operating system or data transfer is not included, please see our Software section for additional rates. Will depend upon system design.
Technicians will remove the case and mainboard to replace your hard drive (HDD) or solid-state drive (SSD). This can be a result of a defective drive, or if you are looking to upgrade. Our technicians will open your laptop case and replace the internal speakers and return the quality of sound when you first received your system.
Replace or upgrade your current optical drive, CD, DVD, or blu-ray.
Replacement of the critical cooling fan and thermal paste to ensure your processor and critical components remain at optimal temperatures.
Technicians will open the case and remove internal components to access and replace the touchpad.
Technicians will skillfully open the case and remove the defective mainboard to replace it with a working unit. Thoroughly cleaning fans and migrating other critical components to ensure the system is fully operational. This does not include any data transfer or re-installing the operating system. Please see our software or data transfer labour rates if applicable.
Technicians will open the case and remove the mainboard to access and replace the keyboard.
Remove built up dust and debris from within your system. Removal of the case and various components to expose fans and vents to be cleaned.
Technicians will open the case and remove the mainboard to access the damaged DC power jack. A new power jack will be soldered onto the mainboard and power circuit.
Technicians will open the case and remove the mainboard to access the damaged USB port(s). Replaced using high quality parts, the new item will be soldered onto the mainboard.
The main display will be replaced including any related parts which could include hinges or cables. The front case will be opened to allow access and address any concerns.
Replace the main battery when concealed within the system by opening the case and removing various parts to replace the failing battery.
Replace the built-in Wireless card within the system by opening the case and exposing the defective part. This may include the Bluetooth module as part of the same item.
Replacement of critical internal circuit boards to ensure your system is running smoothly by opening the system case and exposing the defective items.
Replace your damaged Palmrest / Keyboard cover, either a one- or two-piece case, to restore the look and feel of your system.
Replace a damaged bottom cover and transfer any information labels including Operating System license, model and serial number, or support tags.
Technicians will open the case and remove the mainboard to access the damaged audio port(s). Replaced using high quality parts, the new item will be soldered onto the mainboard.

Software Installations Service Labour Charges

Complete install of your Operating System and latest updates, and any related drivers to ensure your system is working correctly. This does not include the operating system or data-backup, and customer must have a valid license key.

Included is the transfer of common data from your current drive or installation to ensure you get up and running quickly. Allow us to install drivers to support smooth operation of your devices. This can range from video, sound, networking, wireless, USB, or many other devices.
Installation of your legitimate licensed software application and ensure it is running (for example Microsoft Office, Acrobat, Skype, Teams, and others). We will validate it is compatible with your system before proceeding. Proof of ownership required.
Our expertly trained technicians will use leading tools and software to both identify and remove Viruses, Adware, Malware, or Trojans on your system.
Resolve any known issues or add any system enhancements by having our technicians perform a BIOS or Firmware update on your system. We will ensure the latest version is installed and any related firmware updates.

DATA Transfer & Recovery Service Labour Charges

Have your important documents, music, and pictures transferred to another device. A review of key file locations will be completed to ensure the highest level of service. A destination device is required (hard drive, solid-state drive, usb memory key, or DVD disk) will depend on overall amount of data. Due to the complexity of storage locations, some files may be omitted without important guidance on locations.
Transfer both important documents, music, pictures, and e-mail to another device. E-mail transfer is only required if the use of a local client is used (for example Outlook, Mozilla, Firefox, Thunderbird, etc.) A review of key file locations will be completed to ensure the highest level of service. A destination device is required (hard drive, solid-state drive, usb memory key, or DVD disk) will depend on overall amount of data. Due to the complexity of storage locations, some files may be omitted without important guidance on locations.
Have an exact mirror image of your current storage drive, hard drive or solid-state drive, mirrored onto a new device. Ideal when upgrading or replacing the current device to avoid losing files or re-installing the operating system and related drivers or software. Get back up and running fast. A new device is required, and the original must be functional.
We will use specialized software to locate missing or deleted data from your hard drive, solid-state drive, USB memory stick, or an SD / memory card. The drive must be detectable by a computer.

Not all data may be recoverable due to the integrity of the device or lost data and is a best effort approach. A destination drive of similar or larger size will be required in addition to the cost of the service.
When your drive is not detectable in any devices, or a critical failure prevents our technicians from recovering data, we will have your data recovered by a leading data recovery lab through our partnership. This service can be carried out on a hard drive, solid-state drive, USB memory stick, or an SD / memory card.

Not all data may be recoverable due to the integrity of the device or lost data and is a best effort approach. A destination drive of similar or larger size will be required in addition to the cost of the service.
