My first IronWolf. I’ve been using Seagate drives (and SSD) since 1982. While I’ve tried others, I always return. With a five year warranty, I have no fear of failure. This is a NAS drive designed to run 24/7, and that’s exactly what the system I’m installing it in will do. Very few Seagate have failed me; I still have a half dozen mid 90’s medalist and barracuda (with over 5 million hours on them) that are still working fine (as backups)…so I expect a lot from this new drive.

Good drive for NAS storage use. The Pro series in particular is rated for twice the MTBF as the non-pro so it is worth the extra $. Never had one fail yet.
