I had a nasty surprise this week when my Alienware AW3418DW ultrawide kicked the bucket only 4 years after it was purchased. This was a bit of shock considering the price and the age of the monitor.

Was very happy with this gigabyte replacement which met and exceeded the older monitors specs and performance. The Brightness / Color is better in general, I always found my alienware a bit washed out. The KVM was an added bonus and feature!

Great monitor, good colour and brightness, minimal backlight bleeding. Uncurved and Large! Lot's of ports and adjustability, native 1440! Canada computers sent this in a timely manner, box was in perfect condition, would buy a second one!

Another quality product from Gigabyte. Had a 32 inch curved gigabyte monitor 2k that was a VA panel, got sick of the ghosting.

Bought this guy, its ultrawide, resolution is great, 1ms response time is fantastic. decent amount of features for the price point including KVM abilities, and no ghosting due to it being an IPS panel. Dark scenes are gray in video playback, but not to the point of terrible.

100% recommend this especially for the price.

The clarity of this monitor is just amazing. I use this on a daily bases and it's the best for it's price and performance. The ultra wide screen is very easy to get used to and the work flow is just fantastic. If you're looking into getting a computer monitor that is ultra wide, I would recommend getting this one.

I am a front-end designer for video games. Ultrawide is amazing to work on. Working on a curved monitor isn't ideal when working with straight lines. IPS panel, amazing price, great colours, can't go wrong! And great for gaming!

I like this Gigabyte M34WQ because it is exceptionally well priced monitor with IPS panel. Other brands of monitors with IPS panels are significantly more expensive. My previous monitor had VA panel which produced a lot of motion blur (MSI MAG 342CQR) but this Gigabyte monitor has very little motion blur (ghosting). The difference between this monitor with IPS panel and my previous monitor with VA panel is like night and day. It is much more enjoyable to play game on M34WQ. The panel produces nice, vibrant colors and it has good brightness with almost zero back light bleed. The monitor is super easy to assemble and it has excellent ergonomic stand that takes little space on a desk.The monitor has little joystick to navigate menu but it can also be controlled with Gigabyte software called OSD sidekick (remember to connect the monitor to your computer with USB cable that is included in the box. Otherwise OSD sidekick won't work). THe software is also used for updating the monitor firmware. M34WQ has a feature called KVM (Keyboard, video, mouse) which will let you switch between different devices connected to the monitor. There is USB-Type C connection that can be used to power devices like a phone. The only drawback of this monitor is its flat panel. It might take time to get used to it if your previous monitor had curved display. I do not think you will be able to find another monitor with IPS panel at this price range. I think M34WQ is an excellent product.
