Possibly one of my worst experiences with a motherboard in my history of building gaming pc's. I purchased this motherboard new and within 6 months I lost power and experienced a on and off power loop which is a VRM issue and the power was just not being delivered through the board. Do not recommend.

This is a pretty functional motherboard. Dual NIC one is 2.5 GB the other one is 1 Gb. I will match this one with a Ryzen 5 5000 series ZEN 3

Best B550 for a SOLID Price

- 10/10 No Issues just a Simple Blessed Motherboard with really strong vrms that stay under 50c most of the time with a Ryzen 7 2700x Oc to 4.35ghz (yes 2nd gen works on this). - Dual LAN 2.5GB and 1GB - Nice Suttle RGB Around the Chipset! - Debug Lights to make Life easy when overclocking!

The Second Pcie Slot will not work if the Second M.2 slot is populated which is a sad bummer but it's completely fine as there are soooo many RGB and Fan ports on this board.

VRMs are Solid, More than Enough RGB and Fan Headers, a Nice Type C port on the back, dual LAN.
Would recommend this over Gigabyte Boards!!

Its a great starter monitor and i love the rgb on it. The bios may be hard if it is your first pc build but it is very easy if you worked with bios before.

The heatsinks on the mobo makes it pretty hard to screw in all the screws if you have big hands.

I love this and i used it for my very first build. I love how it turned out and i will continue using it.

Really easy to flash the BIOS for my Ryzen 5 5600x, and pretty easy to install all my components. It has a nice looking I/O and cool RGB lights that can easily be controlled with the MSI application.

First PC Build

After putting a lot of research in to building my first PC, I was conflicted between this MOBO and a competitors MOBO. After reading a bunch of reviews, I found this one to be the best one within my budget with all the things I wanted in my MOBO, and considering my budget. After putting my build together, I definitely feel like I made a great decision, and I feel confident I'll be keeping this MOBO for a while before I need to switch it since it has compatibility for the next few gens hopefully!

If you have a big GPU the RGB in the chipset gets blocked. RGB could be positioned on the VRM Heatsink instead.

J'adore le I/O Shield déjà intégré et le heatsink de la NVME. Je l'ai depuis 1 semaine et tout fonctionne à merveille. Le BIOS est facile d'utilisation. J'ai eu quelques difficulté à changer manuellement ma RAM, mais plusieurs vidéo sur Youtube montre comment.

J'ai eu peur de briser mes RAM en les insérant, car je pouvais déclipper seulement un bord. Je ne sais pas si c'est normal, mais bon. Au final, tout est beau.

Bonne carte-mère pour une first time builder. Le site pour enregistrer la garantie est facile à trouver. Belle expérience en général.

Great products, bad company

I can only give this item an average, as the company makes it almost impossible to redeem promotional codes. All within the T&C and they still deny the application and no formal appeal.. Make me regret building an MSI build.

The company is not willing to honor its Black Friday Steam code promotions. Many emails back and forth and met with the same bait and switch. I complied with all the T&C but yet they still don't want to honor the promotion.

At this point in time, I would strongly consider buying a different brand. Unless they fix their support stay away I fear if I ever have to RAM this product.

at first it did not boot up, apparently I had to update my bios

this motherboard is very reliable and nice. i paired up with the ryzen 7 3700x and everything works perfectly fine. in terms of price, this motherboard is very affordable.

Excellent motherboard with minor BIOS issues

Excellent CPU overclock. Working dual LAN.

Can't control RGB from BIOS. Duplicate OC entries in BIOS Settings and OC tabs, but only OC tab works.

Memory overclock didn't work with first BIOS revisions, but has now been updated. Be aware that using the 2nd M.2 slot disables the second full-length PCIE slot.

Excellent Motherboard

Huge heatsink and excellent VRM. Very nice feature set, including 2.5G LAN. Rear I/O is good with plenty of headers on the board. PCI Gen 4 support is great too. Lots to like here without having to step up to the X570.

Nothing so far. Pretty expensive when compared to the B450 Tomahawk, but I suppose there are a few big added features.

Very happy with this product.
